After more than two decades in the rent-a-car industry, our founder and CEO, Mr. Krešimir Dobrilović, decided it was time to bring a new vision to life. In early 2017, he assembled a trusted team of industry experts and launched CARWIZ rent a car.

The journey started in Croatia, where we opened three corporate offices. Within the same year, CARWIZ quickly expanded into Greece and several other European markets. This immediate international momentum marked the beginning of a remarkable global expansion.

 Fueled by ambition, exceptional service, and a distinctive brand identity, CARWIZ continued to grow. By 2018, we were present in six countries. In 2019, we entered fourteen new franchise markets. Over the following years, our network extended to the Americas, Australia, South America, and the Middle East.

 As of 2025, CARWIZ is present in 57 countries worldwide with more than 30.000 cars available. The CARWIZ name not only represents our core service but also reflects our creativity, expertise, and dedication to building lasting success across diverse markets.

Prior to the commencement of each franchise location, CARWIZ rent a car management and operations team assist the new franchise based on detailed business planning.
