Our Story
Founded in 2017, CARWIZ launched in Croatia with three corporate branches and an ambitious vision for the future. Within just a year, we had become a respected local brand, recognized for delivering on both service and innovation. Our growth outpaced expectations, both in revenue and in customer loyalty.
In 2018, we introduced our franchise business model at the World Travel Market in London — becoming the first Croatian rent-a-car brand to export its success internationally. We quickly secured franchise partnerships across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
By the end of 2019, CARWIZ had landed in the United States — a major milestone that was followed by rapid expansion into markets like New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic.
Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, our brand remained resilient. By 2023, CARWIZ was thriving, having entered the Australian market and expanding further into the Gulf countries. Our strategic roadmap led to a strong presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with continued expansion into North Africa and deeper into Europe underway.
