Miami - General Rental Requirements

Rate excludes

VAT (value added tax) 7%

An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees. Prepaid tolls are available for 19.99 USD per day. E-Toll/Sunpass activation fee is 14.99 USD per day.

If the customer declines Toll pass / E-toll device, a penalty of $25. USD for each toll used in addition to the cost for each unpaid toll will apply.
If the customer removes the Toll pass / E-toll device from the car, an additional penalty of 300 USD will apply.

The following insurance type(s) Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Third Party Liability (TPL) is (are) not included for residents of Canada, USA.

Mileage policy

For all customers, except local renters the mileage is unlimited.

A local renter is defined as a renter who is a resident of USA - Florida. Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional mile. Mileage is limited to 50 miles per day. Extra mile charge: $0.50

Driver requirements

Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee of 10 USD per day applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 75 years. A Senior driver fee is 10 USD.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver's Permit (IDP).

Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver's license, credit card on a main driver's name, booking voucher.

Insurance

The following insurance type(s) Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Third Party Liability (TPL) is (are) not included for residents of Canada, USA.

In order to use the renter's own insurance, he/she must provide proof of TPL and CDW coverage in his/her own name, issued by one of the following companies: State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Geico, All State, Infinity, Progressive, USAA, Nationwide, e-surance, Farmers.
Insurance is accepted only if issued in the following country(ies): USA.

Renters must provide proof of their own insurance. Acceptable proof of insurance must include insurance declaration page, Insurance, that is valid for at least 3 months before the pick up date, insurance declaration page, that matches with the home address on the driving license, liability insurance (SLI) with not less than 300,000 USD liability limit.

If using their own insurance, renters must provide an insurance ID card with the exact coverage shown and the same name and address as on the driver's license. Insurance from outside the US is not accepted. Otherwise, the renters will be required to purchase TPL and CDW for an additional charge.

Deposit and deductible policy

A deposit of $500will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.

Payment policy

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following payment methods are accepted: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, Discover Card credit card, Diners Club Credit Card. It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

Prepaid cards and Apple card is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., Google Pay or Apple Pay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Geographical restrictions

Crossing country/state borders is not allowed.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity and may apply administrative charges.

Optional extras and services

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Toll pass / E-toll device, Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI).
Prices for extras are shown on the counter.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Rental period

The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

Business hours

Period, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.

Please note you should arrive 30 min before office closing time to take the shuttle bus service and get your car.
