CARWIZ has officially opened in Egypt, marking another important step in our continues expansion across the Middle East and Africa.
The new chapter was celebrated in Cairo, where partners, industry representatives and guests came together to mark the official launch of CARWIZ Egypt.
Entering a new market is always an important milestone but seeing the CARWIZ brand come to life alongside the people who worked to make it possible made the evening especially meaningful. Egypt represents a market with significant potential, and the opening strengthens CARWIZ’s growing international presence while bringing together global experience with local expertise.
At the heart of the new operation is ECRAL Car Rental, whose dedication, belief in the CARWIZ brand and extensive work transformed the partnership from an idea into an operating business.
A special thank you goes to Mr. Ibrahim Shehata, CEO of ECRAL and Ms. Menna Shehata, Vice CEO of ECRAL, for their commitment and leadership throughout the process of bringing CARWIZ to the Egyptian market.
The launch was also supported by important representatives of the local automative industry, including Eng. Khales Saad, Secretary of the General Association of Automobile Manufacturers, and Mr. Osama Abu Elmadg, President of the Car Dealers Association. Their presence made the occasion even more significant and reflected the strong relationships being built around the new CARWIZ operation in Egypt.
The opening ceremony was attended by key representatives and distinguished guests, marking an important milestone in the expansion of the CARWIZ International network.
Mr. Amr Fawzy, CEO of Sigma Mobility and Regional Master Franchisee Partner of CARWIZ International, played an important role in supporting the development of the CARWIZ network across the region, bringing his regional expertise and commitment to building strong local partnerships.
The celebration was also honoured by the presence of Mr. Ahmed Sultan Alhabtoor, whose participation added to the significance of this important occasion.
Mr. Krešimir Dobrilović, CEO and Owner of CARWIZ International, was welcomed to Cairo as part of a distinguished delegation attending the opening of CARWIZ Egypt. His visit marked a significant moment for the international brand, as Egypt becomes CARWIZ’s first market in the Middle East, opening a new chapter in the company’s regional expansion. He joined the local team and partners to celebrate the launch and the beginning of CARWIZ’s journey in the Egyptian market.
